Ingredients

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 (8-oz.) package cream cheese, at room temperature
1/2 tsp. Kosher salt
4 cups confectioners’ sugar
2 tsp. pure vanilla extract

Directions

1. Step 1Beat butter, cream cheese, and salt on medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy, 2 to 3 minutes.
2. Step 2Beat in confectioners’ sugar, a spoonful at a time, until smooth. Beat in vanilla.
