Heindl Chocolate Museum
At Confiserie Heindl’s Chocolate Museum (SchokoMuseum), visitors learn fascinating facts about cocoa and chocolate, from cocoa cultivation and the history of its use to processing it into chocolate and the production of exquisite pralines such as Mozartkugeln, Sissi Taler, Schoko Maroni, and more. Visitors also get exclusive behind-the-scenes insights into the production process of this traditional Viennese company, which has more than 70 years of history and also includes Pischinger, a former Purveyor to the Imperial and Royal Court known for its famous wafer specialties. The SchokoKino, hands-on stations, three chocolate fountains, and plenty of fresh-from-the-production-line tastings make every sweet tooth’s heart beat faster.
Guided tours, praline workshops, children’s birthday parties, and many events round out the wide-ranging offerings.
